At the 2023 Shanghai CIFE, DASH CASA presented a thoughtfully curated collection that redefines contemporary Eastern living. Rooted in traditional Oriental philosophy yet expressed through a modern design language, each piece reflects a quiet dialogue between past and present—where craftsmanship, balance, and refined luxury coexist in harmony.
Living Room Seating: Refined Comfort Meets Architectural Grace
This modular sofa captures the essence of DASH CASA’s design ethos: modern minimalism softened by warmth and tradition. Upholstered in premium light grey leather, the composition is elevated by sculptural walnut legs that lend both visual lightness and architectural presence.Layered cushions in deep charcoal, muted grey, and rich cognac leather introduce tonal depth and tactile contrast, creating an inviting yet sophisticated seating experience. Behind the sofa, a signature wooden lattice screen—referencing traditional Chinese window patterns—filters natural light throughout the day, casting shifting geometric shadows that bring the space to life.
This lounge chair is a study in balance, curves, and material contrast. Hand-finished walnut armrests flow seamlessly from front to back, embracing a plush light grey leather seat. The silhouette subtly echoes classical Chinese furniture forms while offering modern ergonomic comfort. Paired with a sculptural dark walnut side table topped with sleek glass, the arrangement creates an intimate reading nook or conversational corner. A simple glass vase with soft yellow blooms completes the scene—an understated nod to Eastern aesthetics, where beauty lies in restraint and quiet imperfection.

Designed as the emotional heart of the home, this dining table embodies unity and togetherness. Its oval silhouette—symbolic of wholeness in Eastern culture—invites connection and shared moments. The tabletop, crafted from bookmatched walnut veneer, reveals exquisite radial grain patterns that naturally draw the eye inward.The sculptural base, formed by intersecting wooden supports, balances visual lightness with structural strength. Paired with softly upholstered cream-toned chairs, the table transitions effortlessly from intimate family meals to refined entertaining. Thoughtful styling elements—a brass tray and a minimalist glass vase—underscore how DASH CASA transforms everyday dining into ritual.
Bedroom Collection: A Sanctuary of Stillness
The bedroom collection is conceived as a retreat—an intentional pause from the pace of modern life. Anchored by a generously upholstered headboard in warm ochre leather, the platform bed features clean lines and a low-profile walnut frame that grounds the space with calm confidence.Soft globe pendant lights suspend gently on either side of the bed, providing atmospheric illumination while keeping surfaces uncluttered. Complementary pieces—including a sculptural nightstand with open and concealed storage, an elegant bench with a cylindrical bolster cushion, and a refined writing desk that doubles as a vanity—complete the setting.A deep navy accent wall adds dramatic depth, while layered bedding in linen, cotton, and wool enhances the sense of tactile comfort and quiet luxury.
